Ajax Baseline MotionCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD)

TheMotionCam Outdoor HighMount PhOD wirelessmotion detector sends an alert as soon as a presence is detected by the two passive infrared sensors, using a unique two-step signal analysis algorithm.

Correlation analysis: When the MotionCam Outdoor HighMount PhOD detects motion, the signal waveforms from the two sensors are analyzed and compared in real time. If the signal waveforms are similar, the alarm is triggered.

Spectrum analysis: If both sensors detect motion but the correlation analysis does not find sufficient similarities, the frequency components in the signals from both sensors are compared.

The MotionCam Outdoor HighMount PhOD usesthe Wings radio protocol for two-way communication to transmit photos and large amounts of data. This protocol is required for the built-in camera for photo verification. It is also possible to receive a photo on demand or via a scenario (PhOD – Photo On Demand).

Anti-mask detection automatically calibrates by analyzing the environment when the detector is mounted on the bracket. If obstacles are detected, they will be identified and reported.

The motion detector’s installation height ranges from 2 to 4 meters, and it has a range of 15 meters.
