The Dahua IPC-HDW3849QM-S-IL Black 2.8mm is a high-quality 8MP IP camera designed for professional security applications that require a wide field of view, intelligent detection, and detailed 4K images. The black metal dome housing ensures a discreet appearance on dark facades, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities.

With a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, the camera delivers sharp 8MP images in which even the smallest details remain clearly visible. The fixed 2.8 mm F1.4 lens offers a wide horizontal field of view of approximately 110°, allowing a single camera to monitor a relatively large area. This makes the camera suitable for use in entrances, warehouses, parking lots, loading and unloading zones, and outdoor areas, among other locations.

The integrated Smart Dual Light technology combines infrared illumination with warm white light. By default, the camera uses IR illumination at night and automatically switches to warm white light when a relevant event occurs. This allows color information to be captured at critical moments. Both the IR and warm white lighting have a range of up to approximately 30 meters.

Thanks to Dahua WizSense, the camera features intelligent analysis functions for people and vehicles. SMD 4.0 helps detect relevant movements more accurately, while perimeter security supports intrusion and tripwire detection, among other features. With AcuPick, people and vehicles can be quickly located in live and recorded video footage when used in combination with compatible Dahua recorders.

For situations with strong backlighting or significant differences between light and dark areas, the camera features 120 dB WDR, HLC, BLC, and intelligent image optimization. Additionally, a microphone is integrated for simultaneous audio recording. Footage can be stored locally on a microSD card with up to 512 GB of capacity or centrally on a compatible NVR.

The IPC-HDW3849QM-S-IL can be powered via 12 VDC or PoE (IEEE 802.3af). The rugged metal housing has an IP67 rating and is suitable for professional indoor and outdoor installations.
