The Dahua IPC-HDW5859H-ASE-PV-PRO is an advanced 8MP network camera designed for professional security projects that require high-quality image capture and comprehensive video analytics. This camera from the WizMind 5 Series PRO combines 4K image quality with WizColor, powerful AI analysis, and active deterrence.

The large 1/1.8" CMOS image sensor delivers images up to 3840 × 2160 pixels at up to 25/30 frames per second. Combined with the ultra-fast F1.0 lens and Dahua WizColor, the camera can retain a wealth of color and detail even in minimal ambient lighting. With 130 dB WDR, scenes with high contrast differences—such as entrances and loading docks—are rendered with better balance.

Advanced WizMind AI Analysis

The HDW5859H-ASE-PV-PRO utilizes Dahua’s advanced AI platform for accurate object recognition and scene analysis. The camera supports features such as AcuPick, SMD 4.0, perimeter security, face detection, video metadata, heatmap, and people counting.

Perimeter surveillance can classify people, vehicles, animals, and other objects. This allows a security system to respond much more specifically to relevant events and further reduce false alarms.

With AcuPick, specific individuals, vehicles, and other supported objects can be quickly located in live and recorded video footage when used in combination with a compatible Dahua NVR. This makes the camera particularly well-suited for larger professional installations where efficient incident investigation is critical.

Active Deterrence with Light and Sound

In addition to detecting and recording, the camera can also actively respond to unwanted situations. The integrated lighting and speaker can be used for visual and audible warnings. Multiple alarm signals are available, and custom audio files can be added.

The integrated Smart Dual Light technology combines infrared and warm-white lighting. The infrared range extends up to approximately 60 meters, while the warm light can be used up to approximately 50 meters. This allows you to choose between discreet nighttime surveillance or visible light for color imaging and deterrence, depending on the application.

Two-way audio and extensive connectivity options

The camera features a dual built-in microphone and speaker, enabling two-way audio directly through the camera. Additionally, a separate audio input and audio output are provided.

Professional integration is also extensively supported thanks to 1 alarm input, 1 alarm output, and RS-485. A 12 VDC output can also be used to power compatible external devices.

For local video storage, the camera supports a microSD card up to 1 TB. In addition to 12 VDC and PoE+, ePoE is also supported, offering additional flexibility for installations with longer cable runs.

The rugged metal housing meets both IP67 and IK10 standards, making the HDW5859H-ASE-PV-PRO resistant to the elements and highly vandal-resistant. This makes the camera ideal for industrial sites, logistics facilities, parking lots, public areas, and other demanding professional security applications.
