The Hikvision DS-2TD1228-2/QA is an advanced bi-spectrum thermal turret camera from Hikvision’s HeatPro series. This professional security camera combines a thermal sensor with a 4-megapixel optical camera, enabling both temperature detection and visual observation within a single compact housing.

The thermal module features a resolution of 256 × 192 pixels and an extra-wide thermal field of view of 90°, ideal for securing large areas such as industrial parks, solar farms, storage facilities, waste processing sites, logistics sites, and critical infrastructure. The integrated 4 MP visible-light camera also provides sharp and detailed images both day and night.

Thanks to intelligent video analytics, the camera supports features such as perimeter detection, human and vehicle classification, and temperature anomaly detection for early fire prevention. This significantly reduces false alarms and enables faster detection of potential threats.

The camera supports thermal image fusion, combining thermal and optical images for a clear overview, even in complete darkness, smoke, fog, or poor weather conditions. Additionally, the DS-2TD1228-2/QA features built-in IR illumination, support for H.265/H.264 compression, and extensive network integration via ONVIF.

The rugged black housing is suitable for professional outdoor applications, and thanks to its IP66/IP67 protection rating and PoE support, the camera can be reliably deployed in harsh conditions.
