DS-KD8005-IME1

Hikvision DS-KD8005-IME1 Modular Door Station KD8 Series 5MP

The Hikvision DS-KD8005-IME1 is the main unit of the modular KD8 video intercom system. The door station is equipped with a high-quality 5-megapixel camera and serves as the foundation for a flexibly configured Hikvision intercom system in homes, apartments, offices, and commercial buildings.

The integrated camera delivers a maximum resolution of 3200 × 1800 pixels and has a wide horizontal viewing angle of 134°. Thanks to 100 dB WDR and integrated IR illumination, the image remains usable even in challenging lighting conditions and in the dark.

The DS-KD8005-IME1 features a built-in omnidirectional microphone and speaker for clear two-way audio communication. Noise reduction and echo cancellation improve speech intelligibility during calls.

Depending on the configuration, the main unit can be used with 0, 1, or 2 call buttons. Additional KD8 modules can be connected via the RS-485 port, allowing the system to be easily expanded with, for example, a keypad, card reader, or other intercom modules.

For access control, the door station features two separate relay outputs for lock control. Additionally, connections are provided for door contacts, exit buttons, and alarm inputs.

Power can be supplied via 12 V DC or via standard IEEE 802.3af PoE. This allows both network communication and power to be delivered via a single network cable.

The rugged aluminum housing is certified to IP65 and IK08 standards, making the door station suitable for professional outdoor applications. Configuration and management can also be easily performed remotely via the web interface.
