Hikvision DS-KD8005-IME1/S Modular Door Station KD8 Series Stainless Steel 5MP

The Hikvision DS-KD8005-IME1/S is the high-quality stainless steel main unit of the modular Hikvision KD8 video intercom system. The door station is equipped with an integrated 5-megapixel camera and serves as the foundation for a professional and flexibly expandable IP intercom system.

The camera delivers a maximum resolution of 3200 × 1800 pixels and features a wide horizontal viewing angle of 134°. Thanks to 100 dB WDR and integrated IR illumination, the image remains clear even in backlit conditions and low-light environments.

For clear communication, the door station features a built-in omnidirectional microphone and speaker. Noise cancellation and echo cancellation ensure good intelligibility during calls.

The call functionality is flexibly configurable with 0, 1, or 2 call buttons. Additional Hikvision KD8 modules, such as a keypad, card reader, or other expansion module, can be connected via the RS-485 port.

The DS-KD8005-IME1/S features two separate relays for controlling two electric locks. It also includes connections for door contacts, exit buttons, and alarm inputs.

Power can be supplied via 12 V DC or via standard IEEE 802.3af PoE, allowing both power and network communication to be provided through a single network cable.

Thanks to its high-quality stainless steel housing, IP65 protection rating, and IK08 vandal resistance, this model is particularly well-suited for high-profile and professional outdoor applications.
