ThermTec VENTUS650-LRF – Professional thermal imaging binoculars for field observation

The ThermTec VENTUS650-LRF is an advanced multispectral binocular that combines high-quality thermal imaging with a 4K optical camera and an integrated laser rangefinder. The system is designed for long-range observation and provides security professionals with a powerful tool for detecting and assessing suspicious situations.

With a 640 × 512-pixel thermal sensor, an exceptionally high thermal sensitivity of less than 15 mK, and a 50mm lens, even small temperature differences become visible. This allows for the detection of people and other heat sources in complete darkness, without relying on visible lighting.

Detecting heat sources up to 2,600 meters

Thanks to its specified thermal detection range of up to 2,600 meters, the VENTUS650-LRF is particularly well-suited for monitoring vast areas. Examples include solar farms, construction sites, industrial facilities, logistics sites, and remote storage locations.

The sensitive thermal imaging sensor helps security personnel locate anomalous heat sources more quickly. The actual range for detecting or identifying individuals depends on distance, weather conditions, and the environment.

Thermal and optical imaging in a single pair of binoculars

The VENTUS650-LRF combines thermal detection with a high-quality 3536 × 3536-pixel CMOS image sensor. This allows the user to switch between thermal imaging and detailed digital day and night views.

The optical function features switchable infrared illumination at 850 nm and 940 nm. This provides additional capabilities for visually assessing situations in low-light conditions.

Laser Rangefinder up to 1,000 meters

The integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) can measure the distance to an observed object up to a maximum of 1,000 meters. This feature is particularly useful during field observations when security personnel need to accurately report an observation to colleagues or a control room.

Designed for mobile surveillance patrols

The ergonomic binoculars feature a sharp AMOLED display, digital zoom, photo and video recording, and 64GB of internal storage. Thanks to the interchangeable batteries, the device offers a runtime of up to approximately six hours.

The rugged IP67-rated housing makes the device suitable for professional outdoor use in a variety of weather conditions.
