Ajax FireProtect 2 AC Jeweller white, wireless fire detector, heat, smoke, and carbon monoxide on mains power supply, EN14604

FireProtect 2 AC wirelessfire detector with heat, smoke, and carbon monoxide sensors and built-in siren for alerts in case of alarms and events. The AC series is mains powered with battery backup.

Heat: FireProtect 2 is equipped with two thermistors to detect fire threats without smoke. These detect a rapid rise in temperature when a fire starts from smoldering material.

Smoke: The smoke chamber is dustproof and impervious to insects. A dual-spectrum optical sensor, which has blue and infrared LEDs with different wavelengths, monitors the room. This uses a real-time detection method, which directly measures the concentration of microparticles in the air. Thanks to this technology, the detector will only respond to smoke. Vapor and steam are ignored.

Carbon monoxide: This gas (CO) is colorless, odorless, and otherwise undetectable without a carbon monoxide detector. This means that poisoning can occur unnoticed. Even low concentrations have a negative impact on health. High-level exposure can cause permanent damage or even death in a very short time. A built-in chemical sensor reacts to low concentrations and can accurately detect CO levels for up to 10 years.

The detector works as part of the Ajax alarm system in accordance with EN14604 or as a standalone device.
