AJ-REX2

The Ajax ReX 2 (AJ-REX2 ) is a wireless range extender for Ajax alarm systems. The repeater extends the communication range between the Ajax Hub and compatible Ajax wireless devices, allowing the system to continue functioning reliably even in larger buildings and hard-to-reach locations.

Compared to the standard ReX, the ReX 2 also supports communication via the Wings protocol, allowing compatible Ajax devices with photo verification to communicate through the range extender. This makes the ReX 2 suitable for installations where Ajax detectors with video verification are used alongside standard alarm sensors.

The range extender communicates wirelessly with the Hub and can be configured and managed via the Ajax app. Thanks to its internal backup power supply, the ReX 2 remains operational in the event of a temporary power outage.

The white finish makes the ReX 2 suitable for discreet installation in homes, offices, stores, warehouses, and other professional security systems.
