The RG-ES207GS-HP is a compact, cloud-managed Layer 2 switch designed for professional network and security installations where, in addition to standard PoE, devices requiring higher power output must also be connected. With 6 Gigabit RJ45 ports and a separate SFP uplink, the switch is ideal for applications such as IP cameras, PTZ cameras, intercom systems, and wireless network equipment.

PoE++ for devices with higher power requirements

Ports 1 and 2 support PoE++ in accordance with IEEE 802.3bt. This allows devices with higher power requirements to be powered directly from the switch. The total available PoE budget is 120 W, ensuring sufficient power for multiple PoE devices within compact installations.

Gigabit and SFP Uplink

In addition to the six Gigabit Ethernet ports, the RG-ES207GS-HP features an SFP slot for the uplink. This allows the switch to be integrated into a network via fiber optics, for example, when larger distances need to be bridged or when connecting different buildings and technical rooms.

Remote Management

The switch can be remotely managed and monitored via the Ruijie/Reyee cloud platform. This is particularly useful for installers who maintain multiple customer sites and do not want to physically visit each location for every check or simple adjustment.

The integrated PoE watchdog can help with connected PoE devices that are no longer responding. In addition, the switch supports uninterrupted PoE power, so that connected devices do not have to reboot unnecessarily during certain management operations.
