For a reliable connection, it is important to have as unobstructed a line of sight as possible between the two units. Depending on the model chosen, distances can range from a few hundred meters to several kilometers.
The current product line includes, for example , the RG-EST100-E for distances up to approximately 500 meters, the RG-EST310-V2 for distances up to approximately 1 kilometer, and the RG-EST350G for connections up to approximately 5 kilometers.
Point-to-Multipoint Networks
For larger areas, a point-to-multipoint network can be used. In this setup, a single central base station communicates with multiple wireless stations.
This is useful for locations where multiple camera setups, buildings, or network points need to be connected to a single central infrastructure.

Point-to-Point Links for Camera Security
For IP camera security, a point-to-point connection can be a practical solution when a camera or PoE switch is located far from the main network.
A possible network configuration is, for example:
IP cameras → PoE switch → wireless bridge → wireless bridge → central network/NVR
This allows camera footage to be sent via the wireless network connection to a recorder, VMS, or other network device.
