NVR is a network video recorder for home and office video surveillance. You can connect to it IP cameras from Ajax (future) or third-party manufacturers via ONVIF or RTSP.

NVR integrates these video cameras into the Ajax system. The user can view recorded video and live video in Ajax apps. The video recorder writes data to a hard drive (not included). NVR provides users with video alarm verification through freely programmable scenarios.

NVR supports connection via Ethernet to the cameras and the Internet. A hub is only needed to add the video recorder to the Ajax system. Good to know is that the NVR does not have PoE network connections for the IP cameras, so a PoE switch is required.
